Early CFB Playoff Game: Domers Go Down to Georgia

Notre Dame won’t play itself out of a playoff spot if they lose a tough game to the Dawgs. But they won’t have any room for error. Georgia has Auburn, Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Florida upcoming. Plus a potential SEC Championship Game. They could still play there way in. Irish have ichigan. Speaking of the Big Yellow Weasels, they travel to Camp Randall for a matchup with Wisconsin. That looms large.

The Badgers came out early and rolled ichigan. The Weasels didn’t know what hit them.

Miami RedHawks Play the Buckeyes in Ohio State

The old alma mater “Love and Honor” #loveandhonor Miami travel a couple hours north to show the Buckeyes how to play the pigskin game. During the week, Miami Head Coach Chuck Martin said something like it’s like playing on the playground and dividing up teams, and the other team gets the first 85 picks.

Well, the RedHawks took an early 5-0 lead. Miami sacked Justin Fields for a safety and got a turnover and drove for a field goal. Miami was outgaining the Buckeyes 77 yards to -2. I have proof.

And, the Buckeyes were able to barely come back and squeak out win, 76-5. But for a short time, it was 5-0.

Badgers Roll ichigan 35-14

The Wisconsin offense just took it to the Weasels D. Jonathon Taylor, the supremely talented Badger tailback, ran behind the supremely talented Wisconsin offensive line, going up the middle, basically, for a 72-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Taylor finished with 203 yards on 23 carries. Quarterback Jack Coan ran for two scores in the second quarter, and led at half 28-0. The Weasels scored a couple of TDs late, but lost 35-14. One wonders if John Harbaugh will have a offensive assistant position available next year in Baltimore.
